I'm looking for plans for the best freestyle canoe.
Also the best freestyle paddle.
Thanks

Re: Strip design best suited for freestyle paddling
You do not mention in your post if you are wanting a solo or tandem freestyle boat.
The only plans that I know of that have been available for freestyle canoes are from Douglas Ingram at Red River Canoe and Paddle in Manitoba. He had plans for several models of solo freestyle canoes he designed. He also had plans available for the rare Chestnut Fox, a 14" X 30" version of of the Prospector. The plans were for building in wood/canvas, but were adaptable to wood strip.
I cannot find a current website address for his business, but several searches yield a phone number.

Re: Strip design best suited for freestyle paddling
Thanks !
I'll do the Google thing and see what I come up with.
Do you know if they have a website ?
Oh, I'm looking for a solo.
I have watched a few video clips, and most of the strip built boats have a lot of rocker and width.
Thanks Sedges.
