Hello
I am looking at building my first ever boat. I have been a woodworker/cabinet builder with years of experience. I'm more interested in building a boat then a canoe. have most of the basic hand tools and air tool. Sanders, Brad Nailers, staplers, clamps, routers, trimmers, ect. ect. ect.
I'm looking for advice as to starting on a wooden boat 12' - 14'.
Where to order plans
What tools I would need
Thank You

Re: Boat advice
The plans are sold through this website, see headings to the left of the page. The book, Canoecraft, based on the construction of a canoe pretty well covers the tools necessary for the job.

the dvd that acts as a companion to the book is also very helpful, since you get to see the process in action.
