Hey fellow boat builders, it's been quite some time since I have been on the forum. For those who don't remember me I have built 3 strip boats, 2 18' kayaks and 1 18' canoe. My wife and I have really enjoyed paddling them on local waters.
Anyway I was at the insurance office today and we discussed insuring all 3 boats. I have a good idea what I would sell them for (in a good market) but the agent had no clue as to value. Have any of you builders insured your boats or sold enough to have a professional opinion as to value. Or know a way to have them appraised?
A value from another builder(s) would probably acceptible.
Pictures of course could be supplied.

Any help would be appreciated

Hi Ron, I haven't had the pleasure in such a long time. Perhaps Rod Tait could help you with your question: info@orcaboats.ca

Thanks Glen, I will send him an email.
I see by your website your still building some very nice boats. I hope all is well with you. I have been going through some old posts of mine and I might be getting the boat building itch again, it never goes away
