I am lofting the stems for the Redbird from Canoecraft (revised and expanded)
I have a vertical line representing station 7
I have lofted out water lines 2 - 20
Here is where I need a little help
Water line 20, the "keel" (bottom) of the stem ends 11 13/16" (0-11-6+) from my reference line (station 7)
It just so happens (or probably planned by the excellent designer) that water line 2 is 3/4" shorter than station 7 profile. Is that for the inner stem? Do I just extend that line straight back (horizontally) from the lofted point to intersect my reference line?
Problem 2
Water line 2, obviously is 2" above the base line
Do I just extend the natural curve of the stem down to the baseline?
As always,
Thanks in advance for your help
