Hi jim
If by peel ply you mean stuff that you roll on and remove at wet out stage I did read a post about someone using blue paper towel to achieve the same (a nice neat wet out with excess removed without having to squeegy) and it looked good but when i tried it I quickly ran into problems with the paper towel sticking to my resin so abandoned it.
Merry Christmas!

Hi Alick

The Peel Ply I referring to is a tight woven Polyester that is treated with a silicone.
It can be laid on wet cloth, and once the resin has set, it can be removed. It's used mainly in vacuum bagging.
