15' Ranger layout from purchased plans

Post by rondo »

In laying out the purchased 15' Ranger plans on plywood, it appears as if stations 0-4 heights, with extensions, exceed 24". This means that cutting a 4x8 sheet into 2-2x8 pieces is not appropriate. Is it possible to take 3/4" off the overall height at the baseline, so that the plan will fit on a 2'x8' piece of plywood?

I would suggest you not do that. Just lay out your stations on the full 4x8' sheet and cut the out from there. No need to rip the sheet first.
