I'd like to build a solo boat to train/race in the "stock" or "standard" class. To qualify for this class, a solo canoe can't exceed 17' in length and tumblehome can't exceed 3.5".
The Bear Mtn 17' Solo Tripper would meet these specs, although at 31" seems a bit wide.
Just wondering if anyone has built this boat and their comments on performance.
