Here is a video of my project that I completed after 3 years. For those that are curious, yes, this is Juniperus virginiana and it was wonderful to work with (including the hundreds of required scarf joints). Enjoy!

The video is well done and you have definitely created something unique to be proud of IMO.

Totally A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!! What a beautiful canoe, and a great story. I love the differences between the sap wood and the hard wood, such contrasting colors make for a beautiful canoe. I hope you enjoy her for many years to come. Greg
