I paddled it kneeling in the middle in a mild breeze and some waves and it handled nicely. Very fast and stable. It is obviously designed for more weight that one paddler can provide. With just me it's like a feather on water. It will be a great craft to take friends and family for rides and for crabbing and fishing.

it's almost 20 ft long but it fits nicely on our Subaru Outback with the Yakima rack and rolling extension

planning has begun for my next boat... a 16 ft melonseed skiff sailboat using wood strips... but that will be another forum
