Canoe and Kayak Web Page

Post by Bryan Hansel »

I just posted a page at my website that shows my canoes and kayaks that I've built. It has my three boats: Freedom, Look-Alike, and my West Greenland skin-on-frame. I've also included four plans for the Hulls program for kayaks I've been working on. I hope you enjoy the link, I finally get to show off my boats. I'm always so jealous when I see the great workmanship of canoes on this site. Let me know what you think.

Sorry, it's not on Rogue Paddler yet. You can find it here:

Hi Bryan,
I'm impressed with your building results. I and am delighted to meet another paddler who is building cedar boats, instead of the majority who are woodlovers, build a boat, and then learn to paddle.
The pictures don't enlarge yet on geocities.com. Guess you have to clear this out.
I'm building a Winisk canoe at this moment (10 minutes ago... yes) which is similar to a Freedom 17.
Keep on building and posting,
Erik

P.S. we are 3 builders in our neighbourhood right now, who meet regularly on a weekly basis: Johan is building a cedar seakayak "Expedition Single" and Jos is building a stich&glue seakayak which he designed himself. You see, those Belgians are catching up :-))

Thanks for all the nice remarks. The funny thing about being a paddler that learns how to build a boat, is that now I want to build more because I want to be able to paddle them. I will be updating the web page with pictures of the Fool's Gold build soon.
