New Ranger Build
Started another Ranger for another Raffle. this time proceeds go to the Lakefield Trail for improvements etc.
Building in an old barn just outside of the village. Kinda feels like working in an old canoe barn building a new way lol. Noisy tho with the chickens ducks goats and pigs just outside the window. Don't need a radio on.
Send money Glen I know you want it lol If you win I'll deliver it after I use it all summer lol
Denis
ps just wetting it out again after sanding with 120 grit.

Hi Glen:
Haven't seen the tickets yet but I think they will be 10 bucks with 1000 tickets will let you know when I see them.
We did a 180- grit sanding today and I must say it looks very worthwhile to go to 180 grit prior to glassing. Only a tiny bit of filling to do. Ron's new cutter heads make a really nice job of milling the strips. they go together very nicely
We hope to Glass on Tuesday coming. Same day as Ted launches his new craft.

Raffle winner
The Ranger canoe was drawn for last evening and the winner is Sandy McNeil of the Buckhorn area which is just north of Peterborough.
Sorry Glen your ticket didn't get it.
All of the tickets were sold raising almost $8,000 dollars for the Trail committee to use for improvements to the trail within the Village of Lakefield.

Re: 15' 0" Prospector Ranger
Hi to everyone
Im new to the Strip building scene, I purchased a 15' Ranger kit recently and had it shipped over to the UK, "Phew" that took some doing ££££££££. I have just finished my strongback and forms, just steamed the stems and all looks well so far.
Hope to touch base with some of you.
Regards Roscoe
