Source for caning patterns and instructions?
Starting on our Freedom. Some of this will be rainy day stuff because of my shop limitations so,...
Who has sources for seat caning patterns and instructions? Websites you can point to?

Hi Sluggo,
I used Gilpatrick's instructions for caning and had very good results. He does a good job of describing the steps. Making the seats for my Freedom 17 was an enjoyable project. I made my frames and got my plastic caning from H Perkins.
It's a fun project. I'm building a Rob Roy and am actually looking foward to making the seat for it.

I followed the instructions I found at:
http://krypton.mnsu.edu/~wayne/Caning/ChairCaning.htm
The pictures helped a lot. I just finished the second seat this past weekend. Make sure to read whatever instructions you follow carefully. I had to start over when I did not leave enough slack at first. When the weaving starts the cane tightens up and if there isn't enough slack it's pretty much impossible to finish.

Tim,
as it turns out your link is the most current. I sent Wayne Sharp details on a cradle that I made and invited him to post this on his website. The photos were posted on only the most recent.
