Humidity and West Systems Epoxy

Post by Bill Parker »

I am building my first Canoe, a Freedom 17, per the directions in Canoecraft. I am a week or two away from applying Epoxy to the outside of the hull. I am concerned about cloudiness in the set due to the humidity here in Arkansas, normally above 80%. Any advice? Thanks in advance!

If you use the West System 207 hardener, you shouldn't have any problems.

I agree wholeheartedly with Glen...I'm somewhat an expert on humidity and wet in SE Alaska.
