Stability comparison
Stability comparison
Looking at the stability numbers for the canoes and kayaks I see one that had a 124. Are the numbers comparible between the canoes and kayaks and is that one really that much more stable?

Re: Stability comparison
I believe the way it works is that one canoe or one kayak that was considered to be very stable was given a score of 100 and all others have a stability that is related to the 100 level. So that boat with a stability factor of 124 is 24% more stable than the reference boat.
So the Endeavour kayak is the reference for other kayaks and the Bob's Special is the reference for other canoes.
So the Endeavour kayak is the reference for other kayaks and the Bob's Special is the reference for other canoes.
Re: Stability comparison
So a 124 kayak is not 24% more stable than a 100 canoe? correct?
