Re: New (old) Project
I finally got the name on my boat this week. The boat is named after Ole Lind's wife (Ida) and daughter (Ann). I was able to track down his great grand daughter (facebook) and send her some pictures of the boat and all the business and family history I have collected about Ole Lind and his business.
The paint is fully cured and ready for the water. I just need a trailer and some muscle to help flip her over (and the lake to stay in liquid form)...

Well, I didn't get this project in the water before it turned solid. But I did get it upright and out of my shop! I'll have to wait until spring to launch it.
As a side note, I was able to track down the great grand daughter of the builder (Ole Lind) and share pictures of the re-build and all the historical information I was able to collect over the past year.

Great job and nice that you have the history and shared it with the family... maybe some more pics in the spring, when the water get soft again.
