Glen helped so many people create beautiful works of art and find skills they never knew they had His willingness to share his knowledge, his encouraging words, and patience will long be remembered. RIP Glen...we will surely miss you...
Re: Glen Smith died
It is with great sadness that I read this news, on here and in e-mails this morning. Glen Smith has been more than just a fellow boatbuilder to me. From my very first post on this forum back in Sept. 2004, Glen offered his help like he has for hundreds of other builders. Glen was a very special person and Glen was my friend.
Rest in peace Glen.
Rest in peace Glen.

Re: Glen Smith died
Very sad news indeed. Glen always dispensed insightful advice at every turn. He was deeply knowledgeable and extremely generous with his time. His dedication to helping others was consistent and tireless. I'm honored to have benefited many times from his patient and caring guidance. He was the first to give encouraging words and applaud the successes of the many builders who have benefited from his guidance.
Thanks Glen.
Thanks Glen.
