interior epoxy advice

Post by Ben11 »

Hi, I'm building a ranger 15 and I need some advice on the interior epoxy coat. I did 2 coats as suggested in the instruction but I have many epoxy runs. Should I sand all the runs and risk hitting the fiberglass or just do a quick sanding and do a third coat? I think I will to do a third coat even if sand all the runs.

Hi Ben,

This is probably too late, but I never sand runs, get a good carbide scraper and just flatten then ... sanding out a run is tricky because the sander will wander into the surrounding area.

A decent carbide scraper will save you a lot of time and trouble, something like this is great https://www.leevalley.com/en-ca/shop/to ... d-scrapers
