User groups aren't used here because so far we have seen no need for them. Some software discussion forums have user groups set up so that some of the users who are "advanced programmers" can discuss things that they don't want everyone to know about. Some forums have set up a group of "moderators" who are responsible for the forums and have the ability to perform some administrative functions.

Do you think we should have different user groups on this forum?

Just curious, that's all. I had noticed the user groups button and had clicked on it several different times over the period of two to three months. Each time, it said that there were no groups. I just wondered what its purpose was.
As far as "Project C' goes. We forum members already know about it. C=Christmas, and you Site Administrators are making gifts for all the members. As I understood it, we would have a choice of a cedar strip replica of our own canoes made by Glen or a stained glass with a picture of our canoes made by Dean. How soon do you need our mailing addresses?
