Thanks Glen for the information.
I pulled up the material safety data sheet up on the Ephifane's thinner, it looks like it mineral spirits. I have been thinning it with mineral spirits and so far it’s been working great. I should have the canoe finished this week-end if everything goes well.

Before anybody points out the words "water-down", I am wanting to cut EpiFanes with a GOOD mineral spirits.

Has anyone sprayed EpiFanes High Gloss Clear Varnish?

I am wondering if I can spray EpiFanes through a small air powered spray gun. I know that I would have to water down the varnish. Has anybody tried this? :thinking

I found the best way to mill the radius for inwales small pieces, is to use a milling machine with a "new" end mill, place the small pieces in the vise, pull down the quill and remove the material. VERY SAFE, and really quick way to do them.

I started the project with my son when he was in high school, he is now in his second year of college. I really enjoyed the father and son time. The tempature outside is 2 above zero F. so I am on hold ...
