well. it leaves me with one problem though.
if I look at the sheerline heights from station 6 through 7 to the stem, it doesn`t produce a flued line
at station 7 the sheerline height is too high, it produces a bump in the sheerline
could this produce a problem during the building proces?

bow and stern stem

hello. I`m lofting the plans for the ranger and everything went very well untill now though I`m not a complete fool (some might disagree :laughing ) there is something that puzzels me for the bow and stern stem its say`s sheer: 1-02-1+@1 1/2" is there someone who could put me on the right track...

my thoughts exacly, by the time my son is up to paddling, I will probably have built the next boat
for now I believe the ranger is the best option, mostly because we will do short daytrips and not wildernestrips(can`t find wildernes here anyway)

hi glen, thanks for your reply after reviewing the specs on these boats it seemed rather logical that it should be one of those two, but it never hurts to ask experienced people. my kids are gonna watch my every move during the building proces and do their bits to help me, wherever they can , so it ...
