mine floats too!

hi all. i know it's not bear mountain boat, but i used a lot of information here to build it. thanks to those that helped me.

18.5 EM White. took just over 2 year to build, with college in between.

The 18.5 White was my first boat also. Yours is sure prettier than mine was! Very nice use of wood and color. Hope you enjoy her for many years to come!

Nothin' wrong with taking two years.

That canoe is one on my list. Do you know how much it weighs?

thanks for the comments! yeah it is a long sucker. built it for river trips... not sure i'll ever use it for that though. should have gone shorter in hind sight.

Greg, thanks a ton for your info... you helped me a lot in the first half of building.

weight is around 59-61 pounds. a little difficult to tell exactly with a deer scale!

With regards to the Deer scale: For Deer we always take the high reading; For canoes we take the low reading :laughing
