Just a quick question on how folks handle the inner stems prior to fiberglass - do you round the edges, chamfer the edges, taper along the length, carve the story of your last hunt, what? Was thinking of hitting it with a quarter round router bit as far as I can reach - take the edge off, so to speak. Your help is appreciated, gotta get the inside glassed before it snows!

I round over the edges of the inner stems before I start stripping (just the edges that won't be covered by strips.

I've heard of some laying in a fillet of filled epoxy, on both sides of the stem, before glassing.
I build stemless and this is one of the benefits of that ! I just overlap the excess glass in the ends. Tuck it in with a stick, or putty knife and I'm done !
