Pieces, many many pieces

Post by mtpocket »

I have kept track of each and every piece of wood that went in to this redbird I am building. Sometimes I would forget where I put the paper with the records so I had to get another one. This evening I gathered up all of the papers with the totals on them and added it up. It is no wonder it has taken me so long to complete this project. I think the most pieces I ever put into one project before, except when I was building houses, was less than a hundred. Are you ready for the total?

Nope it ain't finished. :crying

But all pieces have been counted, even those that haven't been attached yet, seats and yoke. I bet you didn't think I could count that high. My wife even let me use her toes.

No, then it's on to the honeydoos I have been neglecting. Then the tear drop or a kayak. I definitely am going to do a kayak this fall/winter. It surely won't have as many pieces.
